I am very happy with my purchase of this rack. It's everything I wanted and fantastic quality. Assembly was long, but between the directions, pictures and video on the website, it went smoothly. As I said the quality is fantastic, I was originally going to order a whole rack from Rep Fitness, but when I saw this I was immediately sold. Nice thing is the whole rack is the new standard 3x3 1in, so I'm bulletproofed for future attachments from any company. Again I couldn't be happier, would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Great pin. Love it. Just be aware, they are sold in singles. I saw the pictures showing pairs and I thought they were sold in pairs (even though the small print, which I saw after, says “sold in singles”). My mistake, but happy with the pin itself.

Also, they do not include the safety pin, which isn’t really necessary anyway.

Excellent weights. Evenly balanced and I love the cut outs for stacking together to do curls. They arrived at my door very quickly!

Good quality. Well made. I made a comment in a previous review that I thought the knurling may be a bit aggressive for a novice and gave it 4/5 stars. I think that was a bit harsh, I think it should be 4.5/5. Giant is a great company and I own many pieces of equipment and am very happy with quality and customer service.

Came here from garage gym reviews. It’s a great bar for those on a budget. Unless you plan on doing some insane powerlifting, this bar will be great.

GIANT Northland Open Trap Hex Bar

I’ve purchased a number of weights, plates, and kettle bells from Giant. Good quality, fast shipping, and nice customer service staff (only needed when I accidentally ordered double what I meant to).

I bought dumbbells here a year ago and they worked great, I decided it was time to get the rack for them and also for my plates. You won’t find a sturdier rack for the price! 10/10 would recommend and the staff is super nice in the Washington location.

The value of what you get for this price is incredible. I got the shorty and it's great for my home gym. Feels great, can't wait for many workouts with it. The knurling is more aggressive than any other bar I've owned though

We bought the pro rack 2.0 for our garage gym and we love it. Pretty easy to put together (just make sure you pay attention that you’re putting the pull up bar the correct direction).

The price point was the reason we purchased it and I can’t imagine needing to spend a ton more for a basic power rack.

Also love supporting a local WA brand.

Giant fixed my problem in a couple of days. Grade A customer service! I have used this thing several times since and it's a great bar for any home gym. Comfortable padding, feels sturdy on the back, and balanced. Good knurling on the handles. So far I've used it for squats, walking lunges, and good mornings. Buy this ... and use your HSA/FSA if you have one.
