How to plan your rig
- Pick a height: 9 ft or 12 ft, leaving clearance below your ceiling.
- Count your uprights: a single bay needs 2 uprights; each added bay in a line needs 1 more.
- Add pull-up bars to connect the uprights: 42" or 66".
- Bolt it down (required): a freestanding rig must be bolted into concrete. A wall-mounted rig must be bolted both to the floor and into wall studs or concrete.
- Make it a rack: add J-cups (sold separately) to any upright to squat, bench and press from your rig.
