  • Use proper technique. Warm up, use appropriate weight for your level, and use collars, clips, and safety arms or spotter arms where applicable. Train with a spotter for heavy lifts.
  • Keep your area clear. Maintain a safe, level training space free of obstructions, children, and pets.
  • Wear appropriate gear. Use proper footwear and any protective equipment suited to your activity.
  • Maintain your equipment. Periodically re-check fasteners and replace worn components to keep equipment in safe working condition.
