Amazing bar and no clue why it’s so reasonably priced… but I’m here for it. Knurling is super aggressive but you get used to it. If it’s too sharp for you, just toss athletic tape on it.
This bar is perfect for me! It's hard to do traditional deadlifts with my messed up back. With this bar I can stay more vertical, or flip it over for more depth, if my back doesnt give out. Being able to stand it up to add or remove weight without needing a jack is great too. It wont be sliding out of your grip with the deep knurling on the handles.
We purchased the 2.5 & 5lb plates and are loving them. Great quality for a very affordable price, particularly when picking up straight from the warehouse. Thanks Giant for another great addition to our home gym!
Amazing for triceps and for biceps too. 100% recommended! If you are like me that I bring my own gear to the gym, this one is super light so is convenience!
Great addition to the 2X rack system. Assembly was fine with the single blow-apart diagram, just take your time and tighten everything down once assembled. Quality of the parts is on par with other Giant Lifting equipment, no complaints and a great value. One thing that wasn’t clear to me when purchasing was that it comes with a lat pulldown bar and straight row bar. They are light duty but its ready to use right out of the box.
These rubber grip plates are gym quality. They do have some type of oil on them, but I was able to wipe it off with no smell. Everything else has been great.
I ordered 425lbs and each plate was within .4 lbs with most of them being dead on the marked weight. None of them were light. My first rubber coated plates moving over from iron and I will not go back. These load on the bars and weight storage pins so much easier, spin more easily and just generally easier to handle.They smell like rubber, not toxic rubber but rubber nonetheless. They also had some manufacturing oil/residue so I took the time to wipe them down while I was weighing them all. I plan to purchase some more 25s and 45s and I will go with these again
Also, the 45s are true to size diameter unlike some of the cheapest plates on amazon with are 2" smaller in diameter.
Weigh 25 lbs. hole in center is Olympic size. Will be used in my workout routine.

The product itself is outstanding and works as described. The setup and some minor flaws with the accessories bring it down a notch.
There was a screw missing from one of the spotter arms and a j-cup with a misaligned screw that had to be removed so the j-cup could set properly. The setup instructions was a video I found online and followed ,otherwise, it would have been a guessing game.
The stand works as described with the smoothest cable system I've ever owned and looks awesome in my workout space. Worth the investment.
I had to search for the slight imperfections. All I found was some minor paint bleeding on the raised lettering. Great plates within the weight tolerance promised.
The instructions provided are a one sheet IKEA style diagram. The company should add a QR code to it that leads to the how to build video.
I bought this after having the $150 Amazon lat pulldown. The jump in quality is evident and well worth the investment.
I appreciate the you can tighten the 2" sleeve to the post so it doesn't slip off every time you take a plate off.
I wanted to optimize the floor space in my garage. I had a 6 post rack and separate functional trainer. Decided on the Giant rack with functional trainer because of the price and quality of the rack. I try to watch assembly videos before purchasing so I can see all the little details. After watching almost every manufactures videos, went with Giant. This was exactly what I was looking for. These rubber grip plates are a great value. Not too expensive and they are good quality. They do have an odor at first but after a few days it dissipates and the smell isn’t terrible. Could probably speed up the odor dissipation if left outside to air out a bit. All-in-all very satisfied with my purchase.
Quality of the KB's were above my expectations. I have ordered several times to expand my set. Seems like a very nice product so far.
The students love the new equipment in our school's weight room. The new bar has got a few reps in by different students without any issues. Will order more in the future!
This bar is balanced. The knurling has a placement ring for hand/grip alignment. assembly is simple, the shorter version makes handling so much easier. It has a rubber spacer on the loadable collar so keeps the plates silent. Built in Jack works great, handle width is fine even for a smaller guy like myself. 100% best bar on the market. Used for shrugs in a rack, deadlifts off the ground. perfect
