If you are not comfortable squatting that is fairly normal especially if you aren't squatting a couple of days per week. Over time, you will build up your neck, traps, and supporting muscles and may not need this barbell pad. You may just simply prefer the extra support- to each their own.
High quality, velcro attaching barbell pad with ample support. For use with 25-32mm barbell shafts along the center area for squats.
