Premium All-Around Barbell for Every Type of Lifter
The Giant Lifting 15KG Hybrid Barbell is our top-of-the-line multi-purpose Olympic bar, designed for athletes who demand smooth spin, balanced whip, and lasting durability. Weighing 15KG (33LB) with a 25mm shaft diameter, this bar is ideal for Olympic lifting, CrossFit, and functional strength training.
Built to perform in any environment, the hard chrome finish offers excellent rust resistance, making it perfect for both commercial gyms and home setups across the U.S. Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or building your first garage gym, this barbell delivers professional-grade performance every time you lift.
Smooth Spin & Reliable Performance
The Hybrid Bar combines needle bearings and bronze bushings in each sleeve to create a smooth, consistent spin—perfect for snatches, cleans, and other dynamic Olympic movements. This hybrid sleeve design gives you the responsiveness you need without sacrificing control.
The volcano-style knurling features a medium-aggressive grip—secure enough for heavy lifts but comfortable for high-volume training. No center knurl keeps the bar easy on your neck and shoulders during front squats and cleans.
Built to Last
Constructed from high-strength steel with a 1,000LB weight capacity, the 15KG Hybrid Bar is engineered to handle years of serious training. The hard chrome coating protects against rust and corrosion, while the spring steel shaft offers a responsive whip that supports powerful, dynamic lifts.

Fantastic looking bar, love the knurling and the build quality. The packaging was robust and it was hand delivered to my door which. This would be a 5 star if the color matched the website picture. I picked up the blue bar, but for some reason the logo is black instead of gold. Doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things, but I really wanted that gold to accent the blue.
Personally, I gave the bar as a gift and it is incredible from how fast it rotates for snatch, power, etc. to the aesthetic details. I hope to have mine soon 🫰🏼 100% recommended
Bought a sweet looking pink and black bar for my wife and some 10lb bumpers. She loves it and now I can try and get her to do some squats and deadlifts lol
I love my plates, I love the bar and most of all the service we received.
I recently purchased giants hybrid bar with little to no expectations. I was pleasantly surprised. It is a great bar that holds up even under heavy weights. I just set a new PR in raw bench at 570 with this bar. I’ll be at a 2000 pound total in no time training with Giant’s bar!
I have this bar sitting next to an Ohio bar I got as part of a package deal. I’ve never used an Ohio bar but heard good things about things about them. If you painted both bars the same color with no advertising I couldn’t tell which was which. The difference? The price! I love this thing already and it was a great step up in my arsenal of home equipment, as I’ve come to expect from Giant in everything they make. Bonus points for a discount picking it up local, but even without that it’d be well worth the price!
15kg Hybrid Bar 2.0 - Hard Chrome
I recently bought this bar when putting together a functional home gym in my garage. The knurling is solid without being overly aggressive, and the spin is smooth. It handles everything I throw at it perfectly. Great quality from Giant Lifting!
I'm not an extreme lifter or have high demands, but I also didn't want to go as cheap as possible. I wanted to be able to do landmines, benches, squats and dead lifts. This bar feels better than bars available at many chain gyms. I can't say I have used "high end" precision bars for professional lifters, but the bar's finish feels/looks good (the green with black sleeves looks sharp). The bar is solid and balanced. The ends spin well. I have a feeling it will last decades in a home gym without any issues and that is what I was going for. I'm sure others make better products, but for under $300 it seems like so far it was a solid buy. So far, I would recommend it.
I was looking for ED bar and the 20 KG Hybrid hit the mark. I went with the green because ,hey it comes in colors . So far just hitting dead lifts but love it. Thanks to team at Giant
I ordered half of my home gym from here, the 5-50lb dumbbell set, the plate tree, 2.5lb-10lb plates, and a barbell! The matte black barbell did come with a big scratch on it so I reached out and they responded immediately and offered a few different ways to compensate for the damage, which I wasn’t at all expecting, but was very happy about! The barbell came very well packaged. I haven’t used it yet but quality seems great aside from cosmetic damage. They gave me a gift card and I ordered a couple more items I’m looking forward to using. Will leave another review for the dumbbell set and rack on that product. But overall very satisfied with this business!
Delivered super quick ! Awesome customer service
Great product! Love the knurling
Really nice deadlift bar soild
A very solid bar! Great spin and knurling is perfect. The red and black is a good color combination! Giant has become my go to for my fitness equipment. Top notch customer service and quality products!
This is a solid bar! The grip is great, not too aggressive but enough. The collars have a great spin.
This bar is perfect for general lifting. The knurling is spot on- not wimpy but not super aggressive and sharp either. Cerakote finish looks good and I know from other applications it will hold up well.
Don’t know what to write other than it looks great and feels great. Looking forward to using it a lot more.
This was a great addition to my shop gym - I use it for 3 new exercises that I added to my goals for the week.
It is very easy to add and take off weight and is heavy duty for any application.
I have always been an advocate for Rogue because they have a great product. Owning a CrossFit Box requires that you purchase equipment that will last! I took a chance for the first time on a different supplier by purchasing 5 new ladies bars from Giant Lifting and I am very happy with the service, quality, and price! I ended up saving several hundred dollars while at the same time receiving a high quality bar that can endure our daily abuse! I will be purchasing again in the future! -James-Heber City CrossFit
Bought this to have another bar in the garage. Now it's the only one that gets used. Very comfortable and not that it matters but the blue on black looks pretty awesome.
I needed a new barbell in my collection (I have a few other brands on hand). Needed an affordable and versatile standard barbell that could function as easily for a deadlift as it could for landmine work or as a base for my hip thrusts using a pad. This bar checked all the boxes. It arrived quickly, undamaged, and the red cerakote looks great. It feels well made, and the knurl is more aggressive than my other multi-purpose bar, which makes it perfect for heavier lifts.
Feels very solid & good grip. Order my in red & so far paint is holding strong. As for now, I’m happy with it.
The feel of this bar is just different. It feels really nice in my hands. The green bar looks even better in person. I am glad I found this company and I am very pleased with my purchase.
My husband got me this bar and I love the quality and texture. It’s perfect for lifting and CrossFit workouts. I am ecstatically pleased with the purchase and know I will be using this bar for many years to come!
My favorite bar. The green is incredible. The build quality is top notch. Shipping was super fast!
I love my new Cerkote bar! The finish is beautiful and the bearings in it are great! The nurlings are not too aggressive, but plenty rough for getting a great grip! My only gripe was that there was some damage to the packaging when the product arrived, but thankfully there was not impact on the bar itself. Maybe some additional padding in the tube would have been good to prevent the ruptures.
The barbell is on par with American barbell. Spins great, knurling is not too aggressive. Great barbell for the price. Giant fitness is where it’s at for reasonable prices and great quality! Highly recommend for home gyms!
Easily as nice as REP stuff for less. Havent used Rogue or any other major brands so cant speak on comparison but I cant imagine it being that much better if at all.
No problems at all. Mostly used for bench and squats but just started doing cleans and the bar is prefect as far as I'm concerned.
