Great looking and functioning bar!

I love my new Cerkote bar! The finish is beautiful and the bearings in it are great! The nurlings are not too aggressive, but plenty rough for getting a great grip! My only gripe was that there was some damage to the packaging when the product arrived, but thankfully there was not impact on the bar itself. Maybe some additional padding in the tube would have been good to prevent the ruptures.

Decent bar for this price tier

Ultimately, I’d say this bar is solid for the price. I had a minor issue with oil leaking into and damaging the end caps during shipping, but Giant was great about addressing the problem. I do think there’s some kind of tolerance issue on the sleeves. Either with the coating they use or the actual ribbing itself. The way plates slide on and off of each sleeve has been inconsistent from day one. It’s gotten a little better over the last few months, but the difference is still there and kinda annoying at this price point.

Still, it looks pretty great with the black cerakote shaft, which has held up well. Understand that the sleeve coating will only look decent out of the box, and immediately scuff up with use. It’s still serving its purpose as a coating, but for sure it looks worn after regular use. The sleeves themselves spin really well (but not crazy) for me and I’m totally happy with the balance it offers as a mixed use bar between cleans and traditional power lifts. And I do feel that medium-aggressive is an accurate description on the knurling, which I’m a fan of as a moderate lifter.

Great bar!

The barbell is on par with American barbell. Spins great, knurling is not too aggressive. Great barbell for the price. Giant fitness is where it’s at for reasonable prices and great quality! Highly recommend for home gyms!

Very nice bar

Easily as nice as REP stuff for less. Havent used Rogue or any other major brands so cant speak on comparison but I cant imagine it being that much better if at all.

No problems at all. Mostly used for bench and squats but just started doing cleans and the bar is prefect as far as I'm concerned.
