I'll tell you what. I do not regret this purchase. Solid barbell in general, but for the price I don't know if it can be beat. Looks to be made to last.
Got the bar and used it immediately. Best bar for the buck. Hands down. You can’t beat it. No pun intended.
Went to Giant to buy some weights, came out with weights and a barbell. The Beatdown bar is a 7FT Olympic-style 20kg barbell with a bearing style shaft. I looked for weeks on just about every platform, but the prices were just too high for anything with quality. The Beatdown bar was my happy medium, the quality matched with the price was an offer I couldn't refuse. I use this bar daily for just about everything and I couldn't be happier.
If you're looking for a place to start your journey to 'Swoliosis', The Beatdown bar is a no-brainer.
I was ecstatic to find a quality 7' bar in stock at a great price. I also picked up their 2.3x squat stand, 3x flat bench and 45lb basic bumper plates. Thanks to Giant Lifting, my home gym is fully equipped for barbell workouts. I honestly cannot say enough about Giant Lifting's quality products and hyper competitive prices. If you are within driving distance to the Bonney Lake, Washington area, you absolutely have to shop here.

Absolutely amazing for the price! Will be swinging by Giant from now on when I need more bars and weights!
The barbell is great it’s pretty standard. Although I am unsure how to remove the oil that comes on it and am finding a hard time online on instructions.
I just moved to the area and was looking at putting a home gym together. I got excited & eager and was please when I found Giant was available for pickup- saved on costs and allowed me to get the product the next day! Barbell and bumper plates are working great for me about a week in. Very pleased with this company & the service I received along the way!

Great packaging. Great price for very high quality bar.
I'm just a newbie and have only used a barbell a couple of times but it's working well so far. I appreciate the prompt emails from Giant. I'll just say that websites -- like this one -- can always improve, particularly in accessibility.
Great bar for the price. Knurling is comfortable yet very grippy. Arrived quickly and packaged well.
I was looking for a simple, affordable yet high quality bar, and I feel like I have found it! I have only had the bar a week but so far I am really enjoying it. The knurl is the perfect depth for me, not too harsh yet still very grippy.
Shipment came in quickly, packaging was secure and well protected. Great sturdy bar!!
Great addition to my home gym
The hip thrust barbell attachment along with the landmine attachment are genuinely absolutely amazing and helpful! These make a fine addition to my home gym!
I liked my Basic Beatdown bar so much that I had to buy another one for my sons home gym.

GIANT Basic Bar - Beatdown 2.0
After a lot of digging and research this was THE cheapest 'good' olympic barbell. The knurling is great. Very grippy, but wont rip your skin. Its biggest "drawback" is its weight rating (700lbs static). But if your new, like me, that won't come into play for quite some time, if ever. If your looking for the best budget bar, just add this to cart right now!
This bar is great to get your feet wet into lifting. Comfortable, stylish, and economical, it performs like a more expensive bar.
I was looking for quality and affordability and found both with GIANT Liftings Beat Down Bar 2.0.
I’m no pro or anything close but I like to workout at home and this bar allows me to do everything I need to do wether it’s simple bench press, throw it in a landmine attachment and the options are limitless.
Knurling is perfect and she rolls as smooth as buttah!!
Get one, you’ll love it!!
Amazing bar for the price
