GIANT V3 Kettlebells
PRODUCT DETAILS:
Giant Lifting's kettlebells are die gravity casted which means molten iron is poured from above into our metal molds. Some manufacturers use sand casting which means the kettlebells can have rougher surfaces, less accuracy with the weight, and lower overall strength.
We don't add any fillers to cheapen the product which potentially leads to cracking in the future. Once the mold is poured and dried there are excess edges that require the manufacturer to grind down to create a smooth finish around the handles and base of the kettlebell.
This allows for a smoother handle and a flat base required for varying exercises. There are easy color coating markers along the handles to find your desired weight.

Just bought this kettlebell. The shipping was great, fast even over the holidays, well wrapped up and double boxed with filler.
The item is high quality too, it's within a high tolerance, almost exactly 16kg, and has a great powder coat grip surface that hits the goldilocks zone between knurled and smooth for dynamic motions.
Highly recommend and will probably build a proper set with these V3s!
I picked up 4 of these on account of the month long black friday deal which makes them quite a bit less expensive than say Rogue who I originally was looking at.
The good - Full cast iron, price and having a local shop I could just go to and pick them up.
The bad - Made in China and the powder coating is not all that durable. I got them a few weeks ago and I'm not even really sure what I hit with them (maybe each other) but the powder coat is already chipping which is unfortunate for me because I like to workout outside in my yard but if you have an indoor gym, shouldn't cause you much problems. For the price, I really can't knock it, just a minor gripe.
