Adjustable FID Bench - 2.0

First off, the bench itself is a GREAT value purchase. FID + ability to store upright is huge for our small home gym. The bench feels extremely stable/sturdy and easy to adjust. The knurled handle makes moving it easy, especially for my wife.

Shipping wise, it came a tad dirty with what sounded like sand within the hollow spaces that I had to dump out. There was also a missing screw at the bottom (doesn't affect the bench whatsoever). I emailed Giant and they quickly addressed my concerns.

Overall, I certainly would purchase again!

Was originally going to buy the 2x adjustable bench for the product was stocked out. Couldn’t be happier that I had to pivot to the FID. Durable, adjustable, and highly functional. Should be an excellent bench for most home gym setups.

I like the aesthetics of the bench however for the price i didnt think it was sturdy enough. Also fhe foot pads are wobbly and the material doesnt seem as durable as i hoped. The instructions were a little confusing but doable.

Bench is sturdy, good materials and well padded. Super functional with decline and adjustable positions. I did have one issue with one of the caps popping off the leg supports before I could even begin the assembly process.

The bench arrived quickly. Was packaged very well. It was a breeze to put together.
The fit and finish is very good. I didn't remember what color I ordered, but its sort of a ranger green, which I love. Overall extremely happy with it. I have about 6 different benches in my gym and this one is definitely my favorite adjustable.

it's a well-made FID bench. It works great for ab work and decline presses in the decline position; the height is close enough to regulation for flat presses, and its incline options are perfect.

So far just a great tool, and just what we needed. Bench is simple, sturdy, and supportive. Easy to adjust and comfortable, seems like it’s going to last. We love it!

I assembled my new bench last night. It's very well built. I like that the pads are replaceable since they are the only potentially vulnerable part on the otherwise steel bench.

I think the quality is there in the fit and finish and it feels like a fair value for the price. I would like more stability in the front,
It feels a little wobbly when the bench is vertical and I’m doing shoulder presses for example. I just plant my feet wider but it’s still not inspiring confidence.

I came back for a second set of dumbbells.

Great bench: rock-solid construction, beefy padding, and full range of positions for both the back and seat pads. I especially appreciate that it is versatile without sacrificing function of any of its configurations (flat, incline, decline), including robust leg pads that fold back out of the way when not in use.

Padding was a little lighter than I expected but otherwise for the price solid bench with many options

Got the adjustable FID bench easy to put together and very comfortable and sturdy. Only issue i had was that they never notify me to pick it up and i had to go to the warehouse and check up on it after two weeks and found it was ready for pickup, but I'm not mad stuff happened the person working there was very helpful also i got to check their products and there are lots of good quality equipments there.

I wobbled around for about three years on a “Fitness Gear Pro” bench from Dick’s before treating myself to this fine beast.

My old bench was rated for up to a 300-lb. lifter, lifting up to 300 lbs. Didn’t worry me much since I’m a busted-up old lifter, but I’m about 240 and now that my bench is creeping up past 265 again, well … I just wanted more headroom than that for safety. Also got sick of stabilizing the bench with my legs.

This bench, rated at half a ton, has NO wiggle. It’s granitically solid, like it was bolted to the floor, and has low-slip padding. Also loving the decline option, and the ankle pads for ab work. As a big plus, my new bench is COMFY, both for presses and for perching on between squats or deadlift sets.

A piece of gym luxury, at an economical price. I’m not offended that GIANT offers a veteran/EMS discount, either.

Sturdy adjustable bench and easy to assemble. Top pad came slightly damaged from transit and they immediately sent out a new one. Would recommend to anyone looking for an adjustable bench.

I shopped months for equipment and decided on bumper plates and a FID bench from Giant. Quality is as expected. Everything functions as it should.

Love the quality of this piece. Does have a slight wobble do to single front post, needs a wider base on it. Also I had all my hardware bouncing around inside box due to bag it was in getting busted open. Scratched the paint up in some areas that I wish were avoided.

Pretty good. Solid feeling. Adjusts quickly. Just wish it had a little more clearance for the wheels like my old bench, this one just doesn’t roll as easily. Also, second time a piece of equipment that needed assembly did not have all of the proper bolts. Seems like a consistent issue.

Picked up the FID bench at the Phoenix warehouse. It’s been in use daily since we got it. It’s a little tricky to assemble; the bolts for the seat take some wiggling to get to. Once assembled, it’s bombproof. We’ve had 600 pounds on it without a problem. It’s rated for 400 pounds more than that!

Customer service at the Phoenix warehouse is top notch. Absolutely recommend the FID bench and Giant.

Easy to assemble. Very comfortable in the flat bench position and in the incline position. The decline position is a little uncomfortable. The front of the seat could be a little wider or more padding for the back of the calves. Overall a great bench.

First, great price and great color choice. The bench ticked off my top level boxes and will do what I need it to do. The only negatives were the packaging which looks like it led to an ugly scratch and missing washers. It’s also not as stable as I expected but these are the tradeoffs for spending less on a bench that does a lot.
