Got Handles, Updated Review, Buy It

Giant fixed my problem in a couple of days. Grade A customer service! I have used this thing several times since and it's a great bar for any home gym. Comfortable padding, feels sturdy on the back, and balanced. Good knurling on the handles. So far I've used it for squats, walking lunges, and good mornings. Buy this ... and use your HSA/FSA if you have one.

Great Bar

Fantastic Bar

The padding is comfortable, the bar is balanced for Hatfield squats, and a great price. The bar is an even better purchase with the use of trumed and hsa/fsa funds. So far I've used it for Hatfield squats and split squats, good mornings, Dynamic sessions, and just normal SSB squats. It has done its job perfectly.

Barely missed the mark

Overall good bar. My lone complaint is that the bar is not wide enough to fit on a Rogue rack with Ghost Roller J Cups or the Darko anchor for storage.

My workaround was to flip the j cups and anchor inside out which I'm not the biggest fan of but beats eating return shipping costs I suppose.

This might give the Rep SSB the edge for now but if addressed this could be the best value bar no one talks about.

I will add that I received mismatched handles but Giant replaced them at no additional charge.

One of my bars still had wrapper around the foam that was inside the vinyl while the other 2 I received did not.

Could be a quality control concern but nothing major here.
