The Giant Lifting Garage Gym Power Rack 2.0 is our most popular rack for home gym enthusiasts. The GGPR is not your standard rack by any means- we didn't cut corners and made tweaks to the design based on our customer's feedback. The GGPR features safety and a cost-efficient approach for you to save money.
J-cups are three-pad protected to prevent your barbell from getting damaged when racked. 2" X 2" Steel tubing supports up to 700lbs static weight capacity. Sleek design, laser-cut numbers on uprights every two holes. Extended pipe safeties and extra gussets at the top of each upright add extra stability.
The internal depth of the rack being 30" allows for a comfortable workout zone. Chromed weight storage pegs store weight plates or stabilize the rack for pull-ups. Many of the features listed above are part of an upgraded package for V2 of this series.

Giant Lifting's Lat & Row Attachment for the GGPR 2.0 is designed to unlock new gym possibilities. There are many exercises you can add to your arsenal with this attachment. The lat and row machine is one of the best value-added decisions you can make for your home gym.
This attachment has a 1:1 ratio meaning 25lbs loaded will feel like 25lbs resistance. The nylon pulley system leads to a smooth operator feel. The lat/row attachment comes with carabiners and loaded weight pegs suited for 2" diameter Olympic weight plates. The total weight capacity is 450lbs. Start building muscle by performing lat pulldowns, tricep pushdowns, curls, rows, etc.

Day of Delivery
For orders over $500: We will send an email 1-3 days in advance and require someone to be present to receive the order.

I thought I would use this rack for longer before upgrading but the new all-in-one from GIANT got me excited enough to try it and now I'm out of space :(
FOR THE MONEY: I think this is the best option online for most starting home setups. Squatting 400 still feels safe in this rack but I doubt slamming 700 would end well more than once. The lat pulldown is "good" but do yourself a favor and get some aluminum pulleys online to replace these and it will feel so much better.
I do wish they had the top cable set to be optionally pulled out at more of an angle, you pretty much can only pull down (15° of movement) or the cable catches the edge of the tubing and will shred it over time.
The low row angle is also like AT the floor so even sitting on the ground you can't get a good position without setting up. If the low row was 4-6 inches higher it would open up a lot of options for movements that might even include sitting on a bench, still works for curls, shrugs, etc...
The SPACE of the rack is great inside, really found the room to not feel claustrophobic and my over sized bench fits inside just fine for all lifts.
I'm currently working on possibly modding the rack to save the lat pulldown for a corner of our gym instead of replacing it since it's held up great and doubt I'll need anything besides a new cable in a few years.
This is a 2x2 rack that is stronger than expected, for most people I think this would be good enough for a decade of lifting on a budget, if you're already strong and planning on powerlifting or hanging all kinds of stuff from your rack one day, maybe save for a 3x3 11 gauge or at least know you might need to move to in a few years.

Also Giant lifting support got back to me quickly with missing/damaged accessories and overnight shipped a replacement j-cup when I had issues. GIANT is still my favorite reasonably priced company for home lifting and this is the best bang for your buck imo.
Added this to my squat rack and it was the perfect addition to my gym
Good quality garage level rack. Gets the job done and opens up a plethora of opportunities. Lat/row movement is smooth. Some may benefit from more detailed instructions other than just an exploded view of the rack.
Overall very impressed with my first purchase from Giant from both product and service standpoint.
- Rack: In this price range I think this rack had the most usable depth inside the rack. This was big for me. Although I'm not a large person, I hate feeling claustrophobic when lifting. It's also sturdy and well designed.
- Lat/row: Smooth pulley system out of the box. The main steel member came with several sections of rust on the inside, and also one of the screws at the bottom was too long and put a gash in one of my new contrast plates, sad! I switched it out for a shorter screw that was called out for another section.
- Assembly: Not that difficult but I watched an assembly video from another company for a similar rack & lat/row add on.
- Fulfillment speed: slightly slower than comparable brands (took 2 weeks to receive) but within reason and stock was accurate.
- Customer service: A+ and the reason I'm writing this review. Jordan went out of his way to help me use HSA/FSA for this purchase, and the company feels solid and trustworthy.
Took about 2 hours to build. Fits nicely in Outback. I'm enjoying it so.far.
