The 28.5mm GB2 Bar is Giant Lifting's go-to multi-purpose barbell. This bar is constructed with needle bearings and bushings in each sleeve providing optimal spin. There is an adequate amount of whip to the bar that makes this an efficient and comfortable bar for Olympic lifting. Powerlifting and bodybuilding are also options given the bar's 1,500lb weight capacity.
The volcano knurling pattern has medium-aggressive depth that leans on the more aggressive side. The black oxide shaft and silver hard chrome sleeves add a clean finish.
The 20kg bar a tensile strength of 200,000 PSI, has decent spin (not too much), and is great for bench, squat, deadlifts, etc.

The thing I don't like is the markings are off, both powerlifting and olympic markings are short by an inch or more, they are supposed to be 81 and 91cm apart and are shorter by over 2cm. It makes me question the whole bar sadly. I haven't worked out with it yet but knurling does not feel as grippy, the diamond shapes are pretty large compared to my wonderbar, as well as compared to picture on product description. There are about 33% less diamonds per my claculations, so its not very grippy..
The barbell was well protected during shipping. There is a good spin on the sleeves compared to a bushing only barbell.
I recently purchased the GIANT 20kg GB2 Bar. I have not been disappointed. This is a very sturdy barbell with excellent grip. I expect to get years of quality use from this barbell.
