Great Lat pulldown

I've been looking to buy a lat pulldown for my home gym for some time. After reading and watching reviews I decided on this one.Glad I did! Im 6'1 and get a full range of motion and it is super smooth. If you are looking for a standalone lat pulldown and low row you won't be disappointed. I will definitely be looking at other products from Giant Lifting

Excellent cable travel length

I purchased this unit as an upgrade to an Amazon special i had bought previously. The previous unit was much too short and didn't allow full stretch or contraction. I went with giant based on the extra several inches in height of the unit. For reference I am 6' even, with a 75.5" wingspan. My arms are longer than normal for my height by a couple of inches. I have room to go on pull down movements at the start and finished position. Note that this is clipped directly with a caribeaner. My wife who is 5'6" will need the chains included.

Function is smooth, not bearing smooth but smooth. The unit will live outside with the rest of my lifting equipment so no bearings is a plus for me. Should be low maintenance, cables seems of good quality, pulleys look to be well made and machined evenly, hardware is standard grade 5 which works extremely well with its zinc coating. Operates smoothly.

There is a chance I will put plyo boxes next to the low pulley and use it as a belt squat. Time will tell.

Very happy with this buy also shipped in two boxes

I’m happy that I got this seem very durable look very clean than the old one I was using and also you need to know that it ships in two boxes and is delivered one day at a time aleast that is what happened with me so don’t worry and be patient overall I love it and now that I have it the biggest problem I have is that everyone use it and no one re-racks their plates

Directions!?

The machine comes with ONE sheet of directions that aren’t even directions. Nothing is labeled or numbered, which would have been really nice for all the bolts that were similar in size. We ended up following a YouTube video so it worked out ok but definitely could use a better direction sheet. Overall, the machine itself is worth the purchase and works very well so we give 5 stars!

Best Lat & Low Row for the Buck

The equipment is great. Well designed & takes up limit space. Only challenging part was understanding the assembly instructions. Based on the assembly video i found & the instructions that came with the machine, some of the bolts didn't match up. This took more time to assemble. Once I figured out the bolts location, it was easy. Still very happy with purchase.
