Giant Lifting has recognized a need for a lightweight training bar. Many lifters are beginning to practice their weight lifting skills at increasingly young ages. Giant Lifting’s 15lb Training Bar was made with young and novice lifters in mind. The bar's dimensions were carefully designed for a beginner lifter to be able to perform all the same movements as a standard 45lb bar.
The 47” shaft is long enough to rest on a standard squat rack. The sleeves will fit any standard Olympic plate. Utilizing bumper plates will allow the lifter to practice from the same starting position as they would with an Olympic bar when pulling weight off the floor or blocks. The thickness and knurl pattern is the same as our top-of-the-line Hybrid Bars.
There are many benefits to developing proper techniques from the beginning. You will protect yourself from injury as well as develop correct motor pathways that will follow you for life.
