The Giant Lifting Cast Iron Plates add a clean look and the euphoric sound of the weights clanging together when you are working out. We are always looking to add new products to our arsenal when it makes sense. 

Bringing cast iron plates makes investing in your gym more affordable, allows more weight to be stacked on your barbell (thickness is thinner), and we were able to nail down the production. Additional Information: Iron plates are powder coated and will chip or flake with use. When the iron core is exposed to air and moisture it will show rusting over time. The manufacturing process may have required grinding along some edges of the plates to remove excess burrs. Grinding causes smooth edges in some areas that are then coated to protect the iron from the elements.
