.) When setting up the rack install it by laying the rack on its back on the ground with the arms of the wall rack extending upwards.
.) Find your studs using a stud finder. Make a marking for future reference.
.) With the help of another person- lift the rack into the position you want the rack to be installed.
Mark with a pencil to pen where your studs are while lining up with your studs. Screw in a 7' wooden board through the board and into the studs on both the bottom and top where the rack will anchor in.
.) Set the rack back on the ground for future installation.
.) Use a drill and drill bit to drill into your “marked spot” and drill through the wooden boards.
.) With two people lift the rack back in place (repeating step 3) and using a drill or a socket wrench use the lag bolts to screw into your pilot holes which lead through the wood board and into your studs. Tighten firmly.
.) Make sure to test all nuts and bolts to ensure everything is secured and tightened. Your done!
